Thera-Paw Dog Boots are medical boots for dogs and are especially designed to stay in place on injured paws.  Thera-Paw boots provide a snug fit throughout the paw and wrist (ankle) and can be worn all day.  The perforated top sole and eye-hole design allows the paw to breathe, reducing moisture build-up at the injured site.  Thera-Paw dog boots have an ultra-cushioned interior pad which helps alleviate pain - reducing lameness and promoting a more even weight distribution.

Thera-Paw Dog Boots are easily cleaned by rinsing with warm water, a mild detergent may be used.  Air dries very quickly and is soon ready for immediate reapplication.   Due to sanitary concerns, this item cannot be exchanged or returned once placed on an animal - please choose carefully.

Some dogs have high knuckles and toes, some dogs have amputated toes and digital deformities - these injuries make a difference with the boot size.  Follow the measuring tips below, take your dog's measurements as far as you can then please contact us.  Custom modifications can be made for an additional charge.

How to Measure for Thera-Paw Boots

Width and Length of Paw -

• Place a piece of paper on a hard flat surface (not carpet)
• Have your dog stand on the paper with the affected paw, must be weight bearing
• Trace around the outline of the paw, keeping your pen vertical and in continuous contact with the paw
• Let your dog go now, it's difficult standing still for too long
• Measure the paw WIDTH (A) - at the widest points
• Measure the paw LENGTH (B) - including the nails

Wrist/Ankle Circumference -

• Measure the Circumference (C) at the midpoint of the wrist/ankle
• For the front leg:  Measure the Length (D) from the back of the main pad to the base of the carpal pad
• For the back leg:  Measure the Length from the top of the paw to the ankle joint
