Chester my JRT is 16years old. This morning we visited the Vet to fit the Carpal Sports Wrap - she was very pleased with it. Due to his deformity (eg the leg won’t straighten even when relaxed) she has suggested he starts wearing it for 15 minutes at a time under supervision and then we’ll gradually increase the amount over time. I’m looking forward to it giving Chester some relief, so will initially start him with it when I take him for a walk. Depending on his pain on the day he can only walk on average a few metres at a time, very slowly, before he starts to lose balance, so with time hopefully he can increase on that distance. He has a dog pram so he still enjoys going for a walk anyway.
Again, thank you very much for your assistance, I really appreciate it.
