Do not assume the paw size is based on your dog's overall size, please ensure you measure for a proper fit. Take the measurement across the widest part of the paw when bearing weight. Follow the directions below.
Skyliner Boots are built to secure around the ankle but below the carpal pad (the small pad about ankle-high on the dog's leg.) The boot should have room in the paw area, allowing the paw to spread when bearing weight, but not too much room, as this will cause the boot to fall off. A snug fit is generally preferable.

I bought a set of the Skyliner Boots for my King Charles Spaniel, Rusty. We only put them on his back paws and they certainly help on our wooden floors, no slipping. Rusty doesn't seem to mind the boots and is happy to leave them on. Thankyou for your quick service.
