    We used the Palisades backpack last weekend - our verdict from its first use is that it is very durable and has nice detailing. It also survived being on a Great Dane who was still trying to figure out her 'fatness' with the pack on - it still looks great after being on a Great Dane that powered through forest and dense bushland, and crossed streams. My only gripe is minor - you have to make sure that both bags are equally balanced or it will tend to slide to one side but this problem was easily fixed by adding or reducing the water in the hydration bags. I like the sporty look of this backpack - other backpacks for giant dogs tend to be large and bulky and the best thing about the Palisades backpack would have to be the detachable bags which can be snapped off and on easily - great when we want to give our girl a break. The webmaster harness underneath is so fantastic with extra padding that we will be buying another one for our other dog.

    Our pack arrived and it looks great! Thought you might like see the Pack in action, we had an awesome weekend in the Mount Cook Region, Mountain biking, 4WDriving and hiking. Felix loved it!
