Ruff Wear Bark'n Boots™ Grip Trex™ are OUTDOOR dog boots and feature two major advancements in dog boots - an upper inspired by human shoes and a high performance Vibram® sole. All boots come in sets of 4. Single boots are available on request.

You will just need the WIDTH of your dog's paw for Ruff Wear Bark'n Boots™ Grip Trex™.
Do not assume the paw size is based on your dog's overall size, please ensure you measure for a proper fit.
Take the measurement across the widest part of the paw when fully weight bearing. Follow the directions below to help you measure your dog's paw.
HOW TO MEASURE:
Grab a pen and a sheet of paper.
Have your dog stand on the paper on a flat surface - not carpet. One paw will do.
Lift one of the other paws - the paw on the paper is now fully weight bearing.
With your pen, place a mark at the widest part of the paw on both sides.
Thank your dog for his/her cooperation. It's hard standing still for a minute!
Measure the distance between the two marks. This gives you the WIDTH of the paw.
Refer to chart for correct sized boots.
If you have any problems or are unsure if these boots are suitable for your dog's particular situation, please contact us first.
You may also like Socks for your dog boots. Socks come in a set of 4 for four paws and can be worn with any dog boot.

Dog Shoes protect pads from burning

Just would like to let you know, I had Bart my guide dog in the Ruff Wear shoes today and he lovs them! It allows us to go out on hot days and I can work him without worrying about his pads burning and him going lame. Thankyou!

Boots provide relief and no more grass allergies!

Love the boots! We went for a walk and certainly got odd looks but doesn't matter - my boy has severe allergies to all grasses and not only do the boots stop contact with his feet and the grass, but they stop him scratching as well! We are both happy :-)

I've received the Ruff Wear booties. They were SUPER! Thanks for the care for going into selling the right size booties and product. And yes, XSmall fits perfectly. By the way, Prudence loves the booties! Now she can run like the wind on rough terrains, thanks to you guys.

City Slicker Moves to the Bush

Jake, our 8 yr. old Weimaraner, was a typical city slicker till we moved to the country. His active lifestyle was severely curtailed because of the rough terrain and killer thorns. Now, with his Ruff Wear boots, he is chasing rabbits and enjoying an active life - no more sore feet!

Chasing Rabbits in Dog Boots!

Just a quick note to tell you that I am very happy with the Ruff Wear dog boots. Jenna wore them today and chased a couple of rabbits - the boots didn't seem to move, so very impressed. If they keep performing as well as this every day I will be most happy!

Boots Ideal for Active Border

I got the boots a while ago now (November 07), they have been good for the boys, Jimmy and Sammy (Border Collies). Jimmy especially suffered from damaged foot pads because he is extremely active at home, as well as wanting to go running. When people ask why, I just say, a set of boots costs the same as a Vet bill for a damaged foot!

Thankyou for the prompt delivery! We have completed a few sessions with Aker wearing the boots and so far they have stood up very well. He has torn other types of boots to shreds after just one of these sessions. They look and feel like quality and I am looking forward to using them on a real search.

Kit enjoys walking again

Our big Golden Retriever, Kit,was limping when walking on our rough country lanes. I had him checked by the Vet who could offer no reason or suggestions. Boots arrived and I couldn't wait to get home from work and try them on the dog! We have just put them on for a few minutes again tonight and Kit is walking almost normally - even giving me his paws to put them on!

Mossy the Trooper!

We planned a lengthy bush walk and bought the boots for our dog Mossy in case it got too hot on the rocks, but as it turned out there was a cyclone hovering around not far away and it was overcast most of the time. Mossy didn't mind wearing the boots anyway. We were away for 4 days and Mossy was a real trooper - only a 7 month old puppy but she did really well.
