Cosy log cabins in the wilderness - take your own food supplies as this is a special environment in the Cradle Mountain National Park, handy shops are nowhere to be found.  The cabins are super comfortable, warm and cosy with friendly service.  At night time expect to receive a visit from a wombat or a possum.

The Spirit of Tasmania provides a link between the Aussie mainland and Tasmania, sailing from Melbourne to Devonport every day.  It's a 10 hour trip but soon goes quickly as there's lots to do on board.  Various types of accommodation is offered to suit different budgets, tasty meals and snacks are available, good coffee and shopping on board.  Experience the atmosphere of sailing across the Bass Strait on the Spirit, take your car, take your dog - there are kennels provided for their safety during the voyage - have a great holiday together.   Everyone should do this trip at least once.
